1Drag — Privacy Policy

0101 Inc · effective September 25, 2026

1Drag is a GPS performance timer for drag racing, speed runs, tow tests, and hill climbs. This policy explains what the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your runs live on your phone; the only things that reach our servers are what you deliberately share or race live.

What stays on your device

What reaches our servers, and when

FeatureWhat is sentWhy
1Drag Live (Race someone, hosted events)A random anonymous driver id created on first use, the driver name and vehicle name you chose, and during a race: your live speed, distance from the start line, and state. After a pass: the results (times, speeds, estimates) and a downsampled speed trace. To show the other lane and the event board what your car is doing and to record the result. Raw GPS coordinates are not uploaded.
Leaderboard (when you post a run)Your anonymous driver id, the board name you chose, the vehicle name and make/model/year, the run's times and trap speeds, a downsampled speed trace, and how the run was timed (OBD or GPS rate, road slope). To rank the run publicly at 1drag.io/leaderboard. Raw GPS coordinates are not uploaded.
Share a track to the libraryThe track name and place you typed, and the GPS coordinates of its start/finish and sector lines, under your anonymous driver id.So other drivers at that track get the same lines. Your laps and times are not uploaded.
Find tracks near meYour current coordinates, once, to look up shared tracks nearby. They are not stored. To list shared tracks within 100 km.
Share link / Text itThe report you chose to share, encoded in the link itself. So the recipient can view it. Anyone with the link can view it.
PDF report / CSV exportNothing is sent to us. The file is generated on the phone and handed to the app you pick.—
Weather auto-fillThe coordinates and time of the run are sent to Open-Meteo, a third-party weather service, to look up temperature, humidity, and pressure. Nothing identifying you is sent, and the request does not go through our servers. To record the conditions and work out density altitude. Turn it off in Settings › Weather.

Uploaded passes are kept so results, leaderboards, and links keep working. You can ask us to delete your uploaded passes and driver id at any time (see Contact). "Forget this driver id" in Settings disconnects the phone from that id.
